We were commissioned to design and produce a fully animated product film for the new Dunlop RoadSmart IV motorcycle tire. The goal of the film is to present the tire technologies and resulting product features in an emotional setting. For this purpose, technical 3D animations of the different tire features had to be created, as well as an urban 3D scene with a motorcyclist, which conveys sportiness and coolness true to the brand.
Synopsis:
In an urban, mystical scenery, a motorcyclist starts his ride. The riding scenes are stopped at selected parts and the focus is put on the tires. In these parts, the tire technologies and the product benefits are illustrated and highlighted in a technical way, for example with the help of cross-sections, transparency, ghost predecessor, flights into the molecular structure, typography and graphic elements. The film ends with the product's packshot.
