alpha | BRAVO (a|B) launched in 2016, providing a range of digital marketing services, from strategy, content writing and reputation management to branding, web design, and social media management for small and mid-market brands. Post-pandemic, a|B was acquired by a global B2B content marketing agency as the social media arm of the business, with the CEO taking on the role of Chief Strategy Officer. After one year, however, the cultures were not aligned, and the agencies parted ways amicably.
Starting fresh in July 2022, alpha | BRAVO found its niche working with enterprise and mid-market B2B brands offering social media and content strategy, organic and paid social media consulting and management, and Executive Social Media Thought Leadership. The agency employed a "theater model" with a bench of marketing contractors, added several enterprise B2B tech clients to its roster, and increased its revenue by an impressive 59% in just 12 months. CEO Beth Newton was invited to join Chief, a private membership network focused on connecting and supporting women executive leaders. She regularly contributes articles on marketing strategy and leadership to both Entrepreneur and Forbes. The agency has won several awards, most recently in December 2022 for a client's social media campaign.
