Indigo Hotels, a brand under the InterContinental Hotels Group, is dedicated to providing guests with a unique experience that immerses them in the local culture and ambiance. Each Indigo Hotel is situated in a distinctive city landmark, featuring unique design and rich regional characteristics that are closely connected to the city's history, culture, and landscape, making it an ideal place for guests to explore the local charm.
Our design centers on the core concept of "Under the Banyan Tree, the Neighborhood Thrives," weaving this idea throughout the overall design. We emphasize the modern style of Lingnan culture while skillfully incorporating the geographical characteristics of the Guangzhou Indigo Hotel. This approach ensures that the design is both regionally distinctive and infused with modern elements, giving the brand's visual identity a lively and fashionable appeal. We anchor the design in Lingnan culture, using the banyan tree as the visual focal point, symbolizing a river that spans history. By integrating local century-old historical sites and cultural elements, we construct the primary visual narrative and extend it into the hotel's overall design and decor.
By leveraging unique local architecture, landscapes, colors, and patterns, we infuse the design with deeper meaning and rich cultural heritage. Our goal is to create a one-of-a-kind brand visual strategy, allowing guests to feel the thoughtful care and unique charm of Indigo Hotels in every detail.
