The Maryland State Ad Agency (MSAA) designed and launched an advertising campaign for the Maryland Department of Aging (MDoA) to raise awareness of their Senior Call Check program. This program is a free automated daily telephone service to check in on Maryland’s residents age 65 and older.
When participants sign up for the Senior Call Check Program they will receive a daily automated call. If the call is not answered, the system will call up to 2 additional times. If there is still no answer, the system will call the person’s alternate contact. If the alternate does not answer or allow for a voicemail, the program will notify the local non-emergency service.
MSAA is nominating the “Peace of Mind” spot that was targeted towards children of homebound/limited mobility senior adults (ages 40 to early 60’s) to help raise awareness of the program and allow this demographic to register their family members.
The target demographic for the campaign was persons 35 - 54 and 65+ years of age, 50%/50% males and females. The campaign included broadcast, cable and public TV, radio, audio streaming services, social media and digital media.
The MSAA-produced spot effectively reached the target audience and the client was thrilled with the results.
