This advertising project ingeniously married technology with fashion, not only reinforcing the Reno series’ identity as ‘youthful, confident, and independent’ but also encouraging young individuals to express themselves and explore life through OPPO Reno 4.
The project showed great ingenuity in terms of product presentation. A square frame, coupled with a rhythmic layout, drew focused attention to the product’s details including the distinctive camera module and refined body contours—guiding the audience’s eye to the sophisticated design of OPPO Reno 4. At the same time, the introduction of young people’s everyday life scenarios strengthened the emotional connection with the audience, highlighting the product’s role as a trusted life companion. In addition, wireframe text, repeated elements (closely related to key selling points), and strategic color accents significantly improved visual consistency and helped to create a vibrant, diversified brand image.
This advertising project innovatively delivered a complete visual identity system, providing not only key visuals but also a full suite of visual assets, usage guidelines, and demonstrations for core applications. This approach ensured consistent implementation across global markets, enabling a cohesive identity of OPPO Reno 4 worldwide. Moreover, the project pioneered a direct collaboration mechanism between the design team and regional offices, allowing the team to guide and empower localized visual execution at the country level—establishing a new paradigm for brand communication. OPPO Reno 4 was well received in Western Europe, Southeast Asia, Middle East & Africa, and China, driving a 60% increase in product awareness, achieving an 80% association with fashion, and boosting sales by 50%. The visual identity system has been in use ever since, and the groundbreaking guidelines have been recognized as a company-level IMS milestone document, laying a solid foundation for the promotion of subsequent products.
