Design Innovation
Parboni is focused on cultural publishing, prioritizing aesthetic excellence and accessible complexity:
1. Bespoke Cover Philosophy: Every major feature is elevated with a unique, custom-designed cover page, transforming the article into a visually independent, collectible mini-publication.
2. Integrated Bilingual Design: We created a complex layout by seamlessly presenting content in both English and Bengali without sacrificing clarity or aesthetic flow for our global, dual-language readership.
3. Visual Storytelling Focus: The mixed media layout relied on curated imagery, shifting the design focus from text-dominant pages to impactful visual anchors that drive the narrative.
The Premium Roster
We’ve curated a lineup of world-class contributors, making this our most insightful edition yet:
• Sam Dalrymple (Author of Shattered Lands)
• Tapati Guha Thakurta (The force behind the UNESCO recognition of Durga Puja)
• Mudar Patherya (The "Man who lit up Kolkata," as featured by the BBC)
• Prof. Sukanta Chaudhuri (Professor Emeritus, Jadavpur University)
• Lucy Kauser (Curator, SOAS Gallery)
• Dr. Suman Ghosh (Professor & Award-Winning Filmmaker)
