One of the biggest challenges for home builders is demonstrating to potential buyers exactly what their future home may look like.
Our client came to us with a very clear goal in mind: to expand the visualization experience beyond photorealistic renderings and 360 virtual tours for potential buyers. To achieve this goal, we developed an online home visualizer and configurator that allows potential buyers to personalize and visualize their future home interiors for multiple scenes, as well as home exteriors. Users can see real-time design changes in a realistic virtual 3D environment and zoom in to check details at their will. In addition, there are built-in dependency rules to prevent configuration errors. For example, if there are options for one-hole faucets and two-hole faucets, the sink in display will adjust as users changes between faucet options.
The photorealistic Virtual Design Center is powered by Netflix-like streaming technology that can be integrated on websites and is accessible from any device with an internet connection. The need for expensive computers / consoles and long download times are eliminated, which creates a fast and easy design experience for everyone. Users can save / share their designs and print a list of selected items if they wish to make purchases from a different retailer or builder. By removing the guess work of how everything fits together, the visualizer helps the buyer fall in love with the design and start the purchasing process sooner.
Embedded on the website, virtual design center engages with potential home buyers with a fun and intuitive future home visualization experience, which increases website session time and improves overall SEO results.
