Our Pro Bono category is specially created to these up and coming visionaries, free-of-charge and free for all.

Jon Meakin
Global Business Development Director, Grayling
Jon has 25 years of public relations experience, encompassing consumer, corporate, business-to-business and crisis and issues management.
In his current role, Jon is responsible for co-ordinating Grayling's response to multi-market briefs, working with colleagues from all disciplines throughout the agency' s international network to develop strategies, and ensuring the right resources are brought together. He previously established and ran Grayling' s EMEA-wide account for PayPal.
Before joining Grayling, Jon's career saw him develop and run successful UK and international campaigns for clients including Associated British Foods plc, Baxters Food Group, The Gleneagles Hotel, Hasbro, ICI, Marriott International, McCain Foods, News International, PepsiCo, Red Bull, Scottish & Newcastle (now Heineken), Shell, Unilever and Weetabix.
Jon is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK and has previously judged several PR industry awards, including the CIPR Excellence Awards, PRCA Awards, the PRWeek Awards and the Romanian PR Awards.

A Creative Director with more than 15 years of international experience, Alessandro Sciortino had the opportunity to create integrated campaigns for clients like MasterCard, Honda, Opel, Alitalia, the FAO, and Poste among others. He has led international creatives in Belgium, Germany, and Italy, starting as a copywriter and actually guiding McCann and MRM Rome as a CD on traditional and digital advertising. Alessandro won more than 30 awards worldwide including Cannes, Epica, Eurobest, Eaca, ADCE Awards, to name a few. He also served as a jury member at ADCI, ADCE, and NY Festivals. His professional experience includes knowing 4 languages and involvement in the Scientific Committee of the University of Rome - Master in Media Management.

With two decades in the industry, Birger has worked on both, agency and clients' side, as a creative and marketeer for Peter Schmidt Group, Springer & Jacoby, Saatchi & Saatchi, JWT, Leo Burnett, BBDO Interone, DMG, set up TBWAVietnam, is a partner in two startups, and currently the Global Group Creative Director at MindChamps - the company leading the revolution in education.
Working across disciplines, incl. advertising, digital, and (interior) design, Birger has won more than 120 national and international awards, incl. Gold at Cannes, the first-ever D&AD for Vietnam, was named most awarded DM creative in Asia, "hottest" creative in Vietnam, and ranked in the Top 100 of “Hottest Creatives in Asia”.
Birger's “TransMariner” campaign for the Republic of Singapore Navy was ranked No.4 in the world (Won Report), his Coke "Olympic Beat" campaign garnered 400 Million views within the first month on air. He created the world's first WeChat ad for BMW, helped make Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore the most awarded direct marketing agency in the world, and TBWAVietnam the most awarded agency in the country.
Birger became a member of the advisory council of the University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City.
Birger is a member of D&AD and The Design Society. He was a judge at London International, New York Festival, Adfest, Award, Young Guns, Pinasthika, AdStars, Golden Bell, Vega Digital Awards, Chillies and Creative Circle Awards.
In his free time, Birger lectures and speaks across Asia on marketing and advertising, and works on design projects. He holds a Private Pilot License.
